INGREDIENTS:

For 6 servings,

  • A greek yougurt
  • 6 pears of water
  • 1 liter of red wine
  • 200g of sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Lemon peel
  • 1 clove

Preparation:

Peel the pears without cutting the stalk and cut into halves or quarters.
In a saucepan bring the wine, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and lemon peel. Bring to boil and put the pears. Leave it to simmer until tender. Remove the pears and reduce the wine until it is smooth. Serve as warm pears, and decorate with Greek yogurt and a bit of peppermint or spearmint.
